Hey guys! If you didn't know, next week wednesday, filming should be done, and I decided to meet up with some of my brother's baseball friends and families by inviting them to my house. I treated them in lunch and dinner in return for their childrens help in the filming. So at about 2 P.M., I went to Kalawai Park to film some baseball stuff. Filming went smooth, disregarding all of the reshooting of shots, but I got everything done in amatter of about a little less than 2 hours, and my actors were pretty good, except they were a got side tracked a couple of times and I had to refocus them too. But yeah, I just have a little bit more filming and I will be done with filming for good but yeah, that is what I wanted to share with you and I will see you at my next blog!

Hey guys! Going to Florida was a blast, especially the STN Convention. But the community totally pitched in to all the fundraising, so this weeks blog topic is what we could do to pay a favor back to everyone in the community who participated. So let me tell you all the ideas I have in mind that our class could do in favor.
First of all, let me just say that this is a good idea to do this community service project. I also think that we have enough time to do something to help the community. So now for the ideas. One idea that I have is a color run. Like, you run for about 2 or 3 miles and at about every half mile, you get hit by a certain color of corn starch, and you wear a white colored shirt and get hit by all the colors of the rainbow if it was 3 miles, you would be hit 6 times and you would have a tye dye color shirt. The purpose, would be to raise money to help stop cancer, or some other disease. Secondly, we could try to recycle phonebooks, bottles, cans, and other stuff to raise money and donate it to the poor or the needy. I would recommend this because, today, I went to 5 trash bag fulls worth of recycables and I was thinking how much money all of the bottles, cans, and caps would be worth, and we all drink stuff from cans all the time like soda, canned juice, and water in a bottle. So it could be a quick, easy and profitable way of making money. Lastly, I think that if we were to hold the color run idea, we could do one once, or twice during the summer. Also, for the recycling idea, maybe we could collect as much of the recycables as possible during the whole summer and maybe during one of the last days of summer, we could all meet up at one of the recycling centers bringing all of the recycables and see how much money we would have made. So those are the ideas I have that we could help the community. It isn't too big, but I know it could help, but that is all I have for this blog and I will see you at my next one! ;) Hey guys! Sorry that this blog comes up at this late at night (11 P.M.) but I will talk about my 4th quarter progress at the moment. Well let me just say that my scripts were due on Wednesday and I turned it in on time so that is great. Secondly, my project is about a movie trailer about a boy who sucks at baseball and gets teased, but one night he prays to do better in baseball and the next day, he becomes so much better like he hits a home run and makes a diving catch. But, at the end, he has to face the boy who teases him. Will he defeat him or pressure out? But yeah, I plan to film soon and I know who is going to act (my brother) and I know exactly what to do when filming. That is it for this blog, and I shall tell you my progress of my project when I post my next project update! Bye!
Hey guys! Today, even with all the fun of STN, there were some moments that weren't all that great. But, I more enjoyed STN than didn't like it. So in this blog, I will say one best moment of STN trip and one worst moment of the STN trip in each paragraph, so sit back, because this might take a while.
The first best moment of the STN trip was going to all of the amusement parks that we went to. I liked this moment because we got to go on many cool rides at the parks and got to eat some very delicious and tasty food! I personally like the two Universal Studio parks because their rollercoasters and rides were a little bit more exciting than the Disney rides. Now one moment I didn't like was moving out of the house that we stayed at for the first week. I will have to say that I liked the house much better than the hotel, because I had my own room (with the exception of my dad) with my own bathroom. We also had a game room and enjoyed playing pool and air hockey. :( My second favorite moment of the trip was going to eat at all those restaurants that we don't have on Kauai. I enjoyed eating the trying food from Sonic, Olive Garden, and Wendys because they have really good food and I ate at those places before, but I wanted to eat there and try their food again. Now another moment I didn't like of STN was the long plane rides. Even though riding on a plane is exciting, riding on planes that go from 6-8 hours are not cool. The first couple hours feel great, because you have something to do but the last hours feel really slow and even though you could sleep, sleeping is boring but I liked when we arrived at the airport because you have a break from the plane. My last favorite moment of STN was being called for an award for a video at closing ceremony. It felt so good that the work that my group and I did paid off with an award. It felt like all of the fundraising paid off. Finally, the other moment of the STN that I didn't like is waking up at 3:00 A.M. in the morning at leaving Orlando for good. This is my least favorite moment because the two weeks felt like it went by so fast and I wished that I could have stayed up in Orlando for another week or two. In conclusion, these are my favorite and worst moments of the STN trip. But that is it for this blog, so I will see you at my next Heys guys. Today's topic is a little bit more serious than usual. I want to talk to you about bullying. Many kids around the world get bullied everyday, and are too afraid to stand up for themself. There is also more than one type of bullying if you didn't know, such as cyber bullying and physically bullying. Sometimes, a person could just be saying words to you that get to your head so you feel like your being bullied. Sometimes, people bully others for no reason and think they are cool just because they have control over someone else. But all it takes is one person to stand up to the bully and 90% of the time, they will stop. But in one video, bullying was taken way too far and resulted in the victim committing suicide. Consequences can be as serious as that. If you would like to see that video and teenagers reactions to that, go on YouTube and search teens react to Amanda Todd. (WARNING: May contain inappropriate language) But yeah, if you see someone get bullied, stick up for them. This is it for this blog and I will see you next week! 😎
Hey guys! I'm back for another blog and this weeks topic is the three most important lessons that you have learned over the awesome STN Convention Trip. I think the three most important lessons that I have learned is using teamwork, never give up, and be appreciative. So here is why I think that.
First is using teamwork. Although that me and my PSA team (Justice, Isabel, and Kaycee) have had quite a few STN practices, we had a good bond between each other as in working together and we didn't turn in a video late at those practices. But even though we had a lot of practice, we still had a bit of trouble at working together to produce our PSA. Like we all didn't approve and work together to choose an idea, or some of us went off topic. Although we had our struggles, we stayed our ground and pulled our video off, and we have got the honor of winning. Honorable mention. Secondly, never give up. I have been told this many times younger and I think that this is one of the most important lessons in life. Even when things are not going your way and the odds are not in your favor, never give up and you never know what is going to happen. For example, our broadcast video didn't look so well, I mean by 6, have of our videos weren't even done or some didn't start editing, and I thought we weren't going to finish our video, but. Our editors Ben and Leanna didn't give up and we finished and got second place. Lastly, be appreciative. This is one that I don't think a lot of people are going to mention, but is important. I want to thank the chaperones for dealing with all this craziness and driving us kids around even though you would get us lost sometimes. Also for going on roller coasters and coming on rides with us that you didn't expect to go on. But I had a wonderful trip and would be appreciative for the parents for fundraising for us to even get us on this trip. But yeah, those were the three most important lessons I have learned so see you at my next blog! 😎 Hey guys! Now that I am back from Orlando, I am back to my regular schedule of blogs. It will be two blogs a week as usual but this time something else is going to change. I will try to post each blog earlier than a Sunday of every week just so you guys can see my blogs earlier. I am kind of relieved that I only have just two blogs a week, but I still do miss the house and hotel room where I would lay in bed and do my blogs. Especially since the bed was comfortable. But I'm glad to be back and on my regular schedule. But yeah, this is wanted to tell you about the update on my blog page so I will see you next time! Bye!
Hey guys! This is my first blog coming back from Florida and to be honest, I still miss Orlando but I love to be here on Kauai. Anyways, this weeks blog topic is about advice that I have to share with you all reading this. But I'm not gonna stall so let me get started immediately.
The first piece of advice that I have for you is that hard work pays off. In life, you come to some hard obstacles that you have to face, but if you work hard at it, you can complete it. For example, I had to give up a lot of my time for fundraisers such as the Golf Tournament and the Breakfast but I had an AMAZING trip and all that fundraising totally paid off. Secondly, never give up. No matter what life has to throw at you, embrace it and just keep on going. Even when the odds are not in your favor, (Hunger Games Saying) just keep on going and you never know what will happen. Like I thought that my PSA that I did with my group was good, but wasn't good enough to place. But I won honorable mention along with my group and we didn't give up when we had troubles with our video. Lastly, follow your dreams. This is what I think is the most important piece of advice that I have for you. If what you dream of is what you wish to do, you have to commit to doing it and practice to get there. People might discourage you and say you will never make it, but don't be discouraged and listen to your heart. I mean, look at Jackie Robinson. The first Negro ball player to play in the MLB and everyone at first disliked him and told him to quit. Even with his struggles, he kept following his dream and now he is in the baseball Hall of Fame! So this is the advice that I have for you and I will see you at my next blog! Bye! |
